Like Father, Like Son

Closet Einstein James P. Hoffa – aka the Teamsters president – recently asked, “Since when is the secret ballot a basic tenet of democracy?”
In you’re going to go down that line of reasoning, since when are regular elections a tenet of democracy? And since when is a choice of candidates a tenet? In fact, how long has democracy been a tenet of democracy?
Here’s your worrying thought for the day: the first step in anything, such as removing the secret ballot from the workplace, is always the hardest.
A precedent is then set for further similar actions.
So, if this measure passes, how long will it be until some automaton Democrat proposes removing the secret ballot from political elections?
