Senate Democrats have made some pretty hefty changes to President Obama’s proposed budget.
Public enemy No. 1 is… wait for it… the meager Making Work Pay tax cuts, which could now expire in 2010.
Some butterflies have longer lives than Making Work Pay. The MWP tax cuts are so small that many people would likely not notice, but, hey, it is a tax cut. Beggars can’t be choosers.
At least now the Democrats’ sham “moderate” front is being fully exposed.
