Spot The Difference
Banks. Suicide bombers. Not sure about you, but I’ve always had difficulty telling them apart.
Seems like I’m in good company.
President Obama yesterday told a meeting in CA that, “”It’s almost like they’ve [the banks] got — they’ve got a bomb strapped to them and they’ve got their hand on the trigger.”
So what does this fifth-grade simile tell us?
Firstly, that President Obama’s gift of the gab disappears with his teleprompter.
And, secondly, that he has a deep underlying contempt for free markets.
Nothing, in other words, that many of us didn’t already know.
