We’d gone, what was it, three or four days without news of some Democrat who had misremembered to pay their own taxes?
So now it’s Eliot Engel’s turn. Who represents the Bronx and proudly claims to be a life-long resident there, but who lists his Maryland residence as his primary abode in order to qualify for a local tax break.
And, just for good measure, an MD tax official has stated that Engel won’t have to pay back the evaded taxes.
Well why would he?
Our rules don’t apply to him, dummy.
