America Is A Strange Place
Last Easter, for instance, I saw people (lots of people) lining up outside churches! Churches! I had to ask someone in the queue just to make sure that they weren’t waiting for something else nearby.
And now, in Fullterton, CA, Americans are protesting about the imminent massive expansion of government and taxes.
I wouldn’t hold your breath waiting for anything similar (in either case) in Europe.
With its cheeseburgers and monster-trucks, America was already, in my mind, a pretty fantastic place. The (counter) revolution will be televised.
