Help Needed
This one’s puzzling. Every time that I read these sentiments.
Those in the upper echelons of politics are uniformly well educated, with many attending the world’s most preeminent universities.
So they have without doubt learned, over and over again, that low taxes are essential for encouraging private enterprise, the only source of wealth generation in our society.
But the Left still chooses to raise taxes at every opportunity. Problem is, those who earn the most are also those who invest the most, donate the most and consume the most. All vital activities in our system.
The Left does understand this. And ignores it. Their overriding goal [an "equal" society] and their means of achieving it [aggressive redistribution of income] take precedence.
