To compliment her many other talents, the First Lady really has the common touch. She gets it.
When speaking about President Bush’s stimulus check, Michelle poo-poohed the idea (clearly it wasn’t redistributive enough) and suggested that the measley sum of $600 was only good for spending on a pair of earrings.
Which is exactly what most hard-up people did with their checks, I’m sure. Not.
